What happens when you combine two dynamic home stagers?
You get the Heathers! Because two Heathers are better than one!
Not so very long ago, nor very far away, the Heathers met on twitter. Two Heathers, both growing home staging businesses, driving around the Lower Mainland in the same model car; synchronicity? You bet!
When Heather Stewart and Heather Kleim met they knew it was a partnership destined by fate, and the Heathers quickly learned two Heathers are better than one. Working together, the sum equals more than its parts. Clients in Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland are the beneficiaries of the extra energy and enthusiasm created when the Heathers collaborate.
The Heathers have shown that they can take a lead in the home staging industry of the Lower Mainland by creating City Stagers, an organization of stagers from throughout the Province. Working together to help establish industry standards, support, visibility, and credibility to the industry they share.
The Heathers love to educate and are available for workshops and presentations for your group. If you need home staging or redesign consultations or services, the Heathers are here to help.

From working in real estate appraisal to designing soft furnishings, Heather Stewart has spent her career on a collision course with home staging.
Drawing floor plans and sewing since the age of seven, her love of textiles, colour and design married her fascination with real estate early in life.
Heather spent several years in Montréal soaking up the ubiquitous mix of new and old world design elements. Thrilled to be back home on the West Coast, Heather launched HS Home Staging in 2008 to pursue full time the redesign and home staging she had been doing for friends and family for years.
Heather prides herself on working creative magic with pieces clients already own and love whenever possible. Whether clients want to love their property or list it, Heather focuses her talent on helping clients transition by reducing stress with effective design solutions.
From the hills of Tuscany to the shores of Vancouver, Heather Kleim creates properties that outshine their competition. Since a very young age, Heather has been an avid fan of rearranging furniture and accessories until a room looks just right. Little did she know at the age of 8 that it would be her future career.
Prior to launching Epic Empire Designs in 2009, Heather worked as a corporate recruiter for RBC Royal Bank. It was during this beloved career where she learned the art of project management & polished her multi tasking skills. On evenings & weekends, however, she was moonlighting as a home stager, helping friends & family with the selling & decorating of their homes.
In 2004, Heather moved to Florence, Italy for an intended one year abroad to learn Italian and live in her favourite European city. She began working in real estate office that specialized in the sale of villas in Tuscany & Sardinia where sales were at at all time low. They began staging these villas & sales tripled in the first year. She managed this office for nearly 4 years before returning to Canada in 2008.
After a brief return to the corporate world, Heather decided to launch her own empire and pursue home staging as a full time career. Epic Empire Designs came to life in August 2009 and has continued to grow to this day. Heather focuses on providing realistic, cost effective & easy to implement solutions for home owners who want to sell their homes quickly & for top dollar.
It was very important to both Heathers to create a local group for home stagers – each had independently included this in their business plan. Inclusion, no matter their training; community service; creating alliances; providing support; increasing visibility and reinforcing credibility of the industry were the goals the Heathers set for such a group. Within weeks, the City Stagers Meetup group was born.
As the group continues to grow, new goals have begun to take shape. The Heathers recognize that an industry without industry standards can never grow. By using the collective power of the City Stagers, they hope to establish those industry standards.
Soon after creating the City Stagers, Heather K brought the “godmother of the Downtown East Side”, Louise Edwards, to a meeting to learn about opportunities for the group to give back. By December 2010 the City Stagers, with help of sponsors, brought a complete common area redesign and Christmas to Sereena’s House.
